Yesterday was a wonderful day. The appreciation art paper was easy than I thought. After the exam I went to Centre Point with my roommate (Tze Ling) and her coursemate (Cyma) as we planned before.

We watched Madagascar 3 at Growball Cinemax. Our ticket cost RM5 each only. Super cheap compare with others cinema right? This is the welfare of being a student =) The movie is super funny although I didn't watch the first and second episode. So, you MUST watch it! =)

We met Mickey and Minnie in front of Super Save. They are very thin. Fake Mickey and Minnie! LOL

I bought some stuff:

1. Four spectacles.

2. A nude colour with lace short pants from effu. I spotted it because of the RM15 big price tag. Girls are sensitive with price tag. Haha! Original price is RM40++. Luckily I didn't buy it before. 

3. Two small scarves.

4. A pair of fur earing. Love it so much!

5. A leopard belt.

6. A red wine colour hat. Wearing it after I paid.

7. A ear cap for my handset. *bling bling*

8. Pink bikini for my handset. Summer is coming! Haha!

Actually we went to three shopping malls yesterday, Centre Point, Warisan Square and City Mall. KK has many shopping malls. First year is ending soon, but I haven't go Times Square and Megalong.  I should go on next sem. 

Cyma is really an awesome Malay girl. I hope we can hang out again. Jocelyn, you must come with us next time =) 

I should start to packing now. A lot of stuff @.@ Can I just leave them in my room T_T

Hurray! I can meet with my hubby boy on the coming Tuesday ^.^ Can't wait for it! ❤

Up - Hope Is Lighter Than Air

相隔快三年了，刚刚再次重看Up。

依然是被感动的❤

还记得，第一次看这部戏的时候还是个中六生。

如果没记错，那应该是我第一次在戏院看动画片。

那时是他建议去看的。

进戏院前，我用怀疑的语气问他 “ 真的好看吗？”

他很自信地说: “ 信我！好看的！”

我也不懂为什么他会那么地肯定。

出戏院的时候我笑着对他说：“ 真的很好看。”

当时的他当然是一副很得意的模样啦❤

原来Up获了不少的奖项。

Betty Boop≈Angela Tong?!

Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character created by Max Fleischer, with help from animators including Grim Natwick. She originally appeared in the Talkartoon and Betty Boop film series, which were produced by Fleischer Studios and released by Paramount Pictures. She has also been featured in comic strips and mass merchandising. Despite having been toned down in the mid-1930s to appear more demure, she became one of the most well-known and popular cartoon characters in the world.

Origins

Betty Boop made her first appearance on August 9, 1930, in the cartoon Dizzy Dishes;^[5] the sixth installment in Fleischer's Talkartoon series. Although Clara Bow is often given as being the model for Boop,^[7] she actually began as a caricature of singer Helen Kane. The character was originally created as an anthropomorphic French poodle.

Max Fleischer finalized Betty Boop as a human character in 1932, in the cartoon Any Rags. Her floppy poodle ears became hoop earrings, and her black poodle nose became a girl's button-like nose. Betty Boop appeared as a supporting character in 10 cartoons as a flapper girl with more heart than brains. In individual cartoons, she was called "Nancy Lee" or "Nan McGrew" – derived from the 1930 Helen Kane film Dangerous Nan McGrew – usually serving as a girlfriend to studio star, Bimbo.

Betty's voice was first performed by Margie Hines, and was later performed by several different voice actresses, including Kate Wright, Bonnie Poe, Ann Rothschild (aka Little Ann Little), and most notably, Mae Questel. Questel, who began voicing Betty Boop in 1931, continued with the role until her death in 1998. Today, Betty is voiced by Tress MacNeille and Tara Strong in commercials.

As A Sex Symbol

Betty Boop is regarded as one of the first and most famous sex symbols on the animated screen; she is a symbol of the Depression era, and a reminder of the more carefree days of Jazz Age flappers. Her popularity was drawn largely from adult audiences, and the cartoons, while seemingly surreal, contained many sexual and psychological elements, particularly in the "Talkartoon," Minnie the Moocher, featuring Cab Calloway and his orchestra.

Betty Boop was unique among female cartoon characters because she represented a sexualized woman. Other female cartoon characters of the same period, such as Minnie Mouse, displayed their underwear or bloomers regularly, in the style of childish or comical characters, not a fully defined woman's form. Many other female cartoons were merely clones of their male co-stars, with alterations in costume, the addition of eyelashes, and a female voice. Betty Boop wore short dresses, high heels, a garter, and her breasts were highlighted with a low, contoured bodice that showed cleavage. In her cartoons, male characters frequently try to sneak peeks at her while she's changing or simply going about her business. In Betty Boop's Bamboo Isle, she does the hula wearing nothing but a lei, strategically placed to cover her breasts, and a grass skirt. This was repeated in her first cameo appearance in Popeye the Sailor (1933). There was, however, a certain girlish quality to the character. She was drawn with a head more similar to a baby's than an adult's in proportion to her body. This suggested the combination of girlishness and maturity that many people saw in the flapper type, which Betty represented.

People who always watch Hong Kong drama sure know who she is. Angela Tong, born 30 June 1975 in Montreal, Canada with family roots in Shunde, Guangdong, China, is a Hong Kong actress and was Miss Chinese Montreal 1995. She went to Concordia University.

Pageant Life

After winning the Miss Chinese Montreal Pageant in 1995, she represented Montreal to compete in the Miss Chinese International Pageant 1995. Although she only reached the Top 12 in the pageant, she was approached by TVB with an acting contract.

Acting Career

Angela has been in numerous TVB dramas since 1995, but mostly supporting roles and is mostly cast as a showgirl or "the other woman". After waiting for 10 years, her big break finally came with the TVB series "Life Made Simple (阿旺新傳)" playing the physically unattractive girl with a heart of gold and a wonderful singing voice called "Lee Siu Ho (李笑好)".

The role won her critical acclaim, winning the Best Supporting Actress award at the TVB 37th Anniversary Awards in November 2005.

Her portrayal of Lee Siu Ho was so popular that TVB composed a primetime special called "Ho Is Beside You (好在你左右)" as well as the 12-episode variety program "Always Smiling (笑口常開)", both with Angela hosting in character as Lee Siu Ho.

湯盈盈（Angela Tong，1975年6月30日－）是香港無綫電視經理人合約女藝員，籍貫中國廣東順德，在加拿大滿地可長大，中學畢業後入讀協和大學，於1994年參選加拿大蒙特利爾小姐奪冠，隨後在1995年到港參選國際中華小姐競選，雖然未能奪得冠軍，但旋即與無綫電視簽約成為藝員，之後在同年加入香港無綫電視第八期藝員進修班，同期學員還包括姚瑩瑩和滕麗名。值得一提的是，其伯父是前香港道教聯合會主席湯國華。她在家中排行老幺，有兩個哥哥，其父於飲食業經商，在加拿大擁有多間連鎖式自助餐館(其中一間是位於蒙特利爾的 L'empereur de Chine )，家境富裕。

她在加入香港無綫電視後，曾參與多部電視劇集的演出，但由於她的形象比較性感，所以時常被委派飾演一些狐狸精的角色。直至2005年，她在《阿旺新傳》一劇作出一個突破性的演出，飾演李笑好（一個臉上有很多雀斑，而且有哨牙的女生），大受觀眾歡迎，獲無綫電視頒發「最佳女配角」獎。
