Appreciation of Art (Apresiasi Seni) is one of the course that I'm taking in this sem. The meaning of appreciation of art is very clear, it means appreciate art. LOL! XD! The lecture and notes are in Malay, so only a few of international students are taking this course.
The group assignment is:
Present 3 products of Sabah which can as a present for V.I.P. or as a goods for tourists.
Lecturer said we can buy products from shops and modify it. Or, D.I.Y.
This assignment is 30 marks, is very high. So, my group members decided to D.I.Y. Actually I didn't make any product, Ivy asked Orange and I to find the information of our product (rumah terbalik and Rafflesia).
We had presented our products on Tuesday.
The 1st product we named it Rumah Terbalik (it's the actual name)
The tablecloth looks famiiliar? Yes... It's from MAS. I stole took it in plane =p
This is the idea of Ivy and youngberry. Because, Rumah Terbalik is very popular in Sabah recently. It's the first and only upside-down house in Malaysia. And do you realize the Rafflesia? In our country, Rafflesia only can found in Sabah. Ivy and youngberry made it by ice-cream sticks and shells. They are very careful=)

We named it Mini Gong House.
Gong is the most important Rungus musical instrument which is played during festivities and grand occasions such as weddings. This products is made by my Malay group members. They made it by sticks and matches.

Key Hanger.
It's also made by my Malay group members. It's made by polystyrene. The polystyrene shape is the shape of Sabah state. They also added Rafflesia and another music instrument, sompotan on it.
Sompotan is a traditional Kadazan music instrument made by the Dusun tribes in Sabah. It's made of a double raft of eight bamboo pipes inserted into a dried gourd.
